The St. Edward TIF Committee, made up of members of the St. Edward Development Company and the St. Edward City Council, is offering a housing program to offer grants to St. Edward residents building new homes within the community.

The TIF Committee has determined that the amount of the grant will be the cost of the first five years taxes on the new home, based on the value set by the County Assessor. Funds will be issued to the recipient after the completion of a signed contract and after the new home is occupied by the grant recipient.

The goal of the St. Edward TIF Committee in developing this new housing program is to promote new housing development within the corporate limits of St. Edward. Currently, there are two homes under construction in St. Edward that will receive grant dollars through this new program.
